PROGRAM SEASONS
Volunteer roles general coincide with a program season
SPRING: February - mid-May
SUMMER: June - August
FALL: Late September to mid-December
VOLUNTEER ROLES
Creative Mentor
What Would I Do?
Work 1:1 with matched mentee for 1 hour per week to build student's skill & prepare a project or performance piece in your craft area
Lead Workshop
What Would I Do?
Plan and lead a special workshop with discussion or activities related to your craft, career or experience. Single or series welcome
Teacher's Helper
What Would I Do?
Assist one of our instructors in a group session. Help set up for & clean up after sessions, help struggling students, support activities, aid lead teacher
Special Events
What Would I Do?
Help with preparation, supporting roles or capturing an event. Roles for creatives (ex. photograph) & non-creatives (ex. greeter).
College Mentor
What Would I Do?
Work 1:1 with students monthly to help them meet their goals (research schools, applications, scholarships) *Great for college students or graduates*
