Participants are matched with a musician/artist as their creative mentor. Matching based on participant’s creative interests and availability. During sessions they practice skills & techniques, and work on a project or performance piece to showcase at the end of the term.

 

How It Works

1. Choose all specialties of interest and time availability

2. Attend Music Mix & Mingle (will meet potential mentors and submit preference list)

3. Notified if receive mentor match, with session day/time

4. Meet with mentor weekly for season!

*In future seasons, if the mentor & student are both interested and available, we prioritize re-matching

 

What is the Music Mix & Mingle?

It is a pre-matching event for all students and potential mentors! We'll have ice breakers, games and other fun activities, and students will be able to share their preferences for matches. For Re-matches, this gives a chance to have some fun with your mentor!
